Webinar details:
How many times have you heard your patrons and staff complain that the Web catalog should work more like Amazon or Barnes & Noble online? For Johnson County Library, BiblioCommons was the catalog interface their staff and patrons had been dreaming of. With BiblioCommons, Johnson County patrons and staff get the functionality and personalization options they want, and the library didn’t have to replace its ILS to get it.
Michelle Beesley and Erica Reynolds from the Johnson County Library will share how they selected BiblioCommons as their new Web catalog and how it has benefited patrons and staff alike. Johnson County is nearing 35,000 registered users and and they love their new web catalog.
Beth Jefferson, Founder of BiblioCommons will lead a live demonstration of BiblioCommons and provide information about its interface that sits on top of the library’s existing ILS and is available as a hosted service allowing the library to free staff time from server maintenance and software updates.
Find out more about Johnson County Library’s New Web Catalog on their information page and take time to watch the introductory video. (It’s fun and informative!)
