The State Library of Kansas Library Development staff is pursuing a project to showcase the resources on WebJunction Kansas, focusing on both courses and resources. The project will include financial management, legal issues, professional values, interpersonal skills, reference, technical services and youth services.
On June 21, 2010, the first article was posted to the blog. It featured resources on Marketing and it can be accessed at:

We decided to choose Planning as the second area, because planning is where library success stories start. The WebJunction resources on planning are varied. Included are resources on classic strategic planning, technology planning, community partnerships, and building projects.
The SkilSoft courses wrap their instruction around a system called Project Management, which is extensive and can be very effective. These courses include material on marketing projects, funding projects, team building, scheduling, and time management. In other words, theses courses address the headaches that materialize once you are committed to the project and can’t back out.
