In the fall of 2009, three more Kansas librarians received their certification, making a total of 257 certified librarians:
Jennifer King, Pottawatomie-Wabaunsee Regional Library, III
Gloria Mueller, Linda Hunt Library, Pratt Community College, II
Christine Waddell, Linn County Library District #2 in LaCygne, III
Two Kansas librarians received their re-certification at the end of August and are now certified until August of 2012:
Rhonda Corwin, Ruth Dole Memorial Library in Burrton, IV
Paula Ware, Oskaloosa Public Library, III
The State Library staff offers its congratulations to these librarians.
Librarians who were certified in 2007 should remember that they will need to document and request their re-certification in 2010. The re-certification is due within the three year period after the date on the initial certificate. Librarians who have qualified for a higher level certification during the three year period should make sure they request the new level at the time of their re-certification.
