Guess I should have gotten busy and nominated it! He was once listed with Frank L. Baum, Truman Capote, William Least Heat Moon and Robert Day in a list of the top 12 Kansas favorites...and the only author with TWO TITLES on the list of of 12. I urge Kansans to read his work.
